FPS CONTROL TYPES
(all versions)

All processes in the application are monitored in real time.

There are different forms of control in the FPS as follows:

Control of files and directories;
Content control;
Process control;
Used devices control;
DLP system control.

The control of each of the processes is realized on the basis of automatically formed protocols.
The content of the protocols includes different components, depending on the specific needs.

CONTROL OF FILES AND DIRECTORIES
( FPS-FE edition )

The control of the used files is a basic element of the operational monitoring systems in File Protect System.

The control of the used files and folders is performed on the basis of the information for the following parameters:

Date of creation;
Last accessed date (last used date);
Date of last revision;
System code;
Control checksum;
Hash code;

In addition to the basic parameters listed above, the following auxiliary parameters are used:

Eight-bit checksum;
Sixty bit checksum;
Thirty-two bit checksum;
Sixty-four bit checksum.

Which of the parameters will be subject to visualization is determined by the settings in the File information menu.

FPS - real time process control

The parameters can be displayed in both digital and hexadecimal form.

A set of values of different hash functions can be obtained for each of the controlled files.

The choice of control hash functions is realized from the menu Encryption - Hash functions.

When the file is selected in the Shell list, all the information about it will be displayed in the File information field, as shown in the image.

If necessary, the file itself can be previewed. For this purpose it is necessary to check the fields File information, Thumbnail and Preview file, from menu View - System panels, as shown in the image

If this is done, detailed information about the selected file will be displayed in the preview panel.

Note: In the FPS version of the FPS, there is no specialized report for the information for the selected file.

CRYPTO PROCESS CONTROL
( FPS-FE edition )

Crypto processes real-time control is one of the most important elements in Fillet Protect System.

It allows the encryption and decryption processes to be documented without in any way violating the requirements of confidentiality. Understanding this feature is extremely important.

The reports contain information about the source and result files, the duration of the process, the crypto-primitives used, etc., but nowhere and in no form is information given about the secret key or user password used.

The control information is displayed in both text and tabular form.

Whether and in what form the crypto processes will be controlled is determined by entering the appropriate settings in View - Debug information.

Activating display of information for the current date and time is done by View - Time control.

Note: The minimum time and in standard versions of FPS is one millisecond.

The definition of the fields that will be displayed in the tabular reports is determined depending on the settings in View - Crypto process table.
