Activate features

Activating features in the File Protect System is done using softkeys, menus, keys, and shortcuts.

Since FPS is a modular principle, each function is tied to a specific module that can also function as a standalone application. According to their purpose they are:

Each function group can be managed by both system buttons and system menus. System menus are a classic form of management.

There is another group of buttons. These are the buttons that are used when we need to test settings or check the performance of the application. Unlike all others, they are colorful and different from the others.

FPS-Help

Many of the features in the app are subject to patent protection. These are primarily functions serving object-relational encryption methods, as well as specific forms of non-standard protection of information.
Automatic password generation (control string) is a typical example of this.

FPS Functions

It is important to know that many of the system functions are not apparent.
The reason for this is the high degree of process automation. In a number of cases, the operator's intervention is undesirable as it could lead to a violation of the integrity of the information.
To avoid this, access to such features remains hidden for end users.

Turning features on and off

Some features in the File Protect System must be manually turned on by the operator. This is done by checking.

If the operator tries to activate a critical function that operates in fully automatic mode, the system will output a message and request activation confirmation.
If the selection is not confirmed, the function will not work.

FPS - Functions

There is also a rich set of features that require a subscription.
They are limited within a set period in which they can be used.
If there is no subscription, these features are latent and can not be used.
When the subscription is activated, the functions are turned on automatically.
If the subscription is not extended after the expiration date, they are again latent.

Note: There may be features that are visible to the operator but are not active. In this case, these are higher version features. They are activated when the product is upgraded to the appropriate version.
