If the computer on which the application is about to be installed uses Windows 10 operating system, you should download the application from the Microsoft Store.

If the computer where the application installs uses a version of Windows other than Windows 10, you should download the install package from the official web site.

After the installation package is downloaded, the application can be installed and tested for free within seven calendar days.

IMPORTANT!

The installation package you get from Microsoft Store differs from the one you download from the official site.
The installation process for Windows 10 and for other versions of Windows is different.

These differences are determined by the specifics of the operating system used.
Currently, Windows 10 ensures the highest level of data protection when they are located on local workstations or shared computer systems.

Get the installation package

There are two ways to get an installation package:

• Receipt by an authorized representative;
  
• Download from the internet.
  

If you work with a regional representative you can get a distribution right next to it. This is a recommended procedure for corporate customers or subscribers to services that accompany the use of FPS.

Note: It is recommended that when the application is used by accountants, firms, hotels or other legal entities, contact the regional representative directly. The reason for this is that installation packages with different functionality are provided, according to the different versions of the operating system used for which there is no information on the Internet.

Downloading the application over the Internet can be done through one of the major information portals like Softpedia or cNet.

If you download the application from the official site, after clicking the download button, the browser will download the installation package to your computer and display a message in the lower left corner as shown on the image.

After clicking on the FPS.exe icon, the installation process begins.

Installation process

The installation process for Window versions other than Windows 10 takes place in the following sequence:

Notify the operator that FPS-LE will be installed on the computer's local disk.
If this is accepted, click the "Next"

The operator must read the End User License Agreement (EULA).

Continued installation requires consent. Consent is confirmed by checking the box "I accept the terms of the license agreement".

Once the conditions are accepted, the "Next" button is activated and the installation process continues.

At the next stage of the installation process, information about the hardware and software requirements of the application (Important Information) is displayed.
These requirements are minimal to ensure reliable operation at all times.
If the device complies with the technical requirements, click the "Next" button and proceed to the next step of the installation process.

Note: This type of installation can also be done for Windows 10 OS. However, in this case, you will not be able to use all of the advanced features that guarantee the high reliability that Windows 10 delivers to end users.

Customer Registration is an important element of the installation process when physical access to the computer is made by more than one person.
In this case, restrictions may be imposed and the application may only be used by an authorized user.
For this purpose, the user name is entered in the "User Name" field as specified in the control panel of the operating system and in the "Organization" field the name of the organization that owns the computer.
If it is not necessary, the fields may remain empty.
To go to the next stage of the installation process, click the "Next" button.

Note: This information has no bearing on the application activation process. The entered data are local and not transmitted over the Internet. Access to this information can only be obtained by the administrator of the computer device that is authorized to do so.

The next step is to specify the Setup Type.
Due to the specificity of the LE version, it is recommended to keep the preset default installation type. This is important when a new version is installed or a damaged application is restored.

The next step is extremely important in the installation process as it allows you to install the application on an external media.

IMPORTANT!

The advantage of installing an external media (flash drive or external disk) is that the application can only be used if the media is plugged into the computer.
This eliminates the likelihood that another user will abuse the opportunities that FPS provides.

If no corrections are made, the application will be installed in the system directory.

Note: If an external media installation is installed, the application can only be started on the computer on which the installation is made. If it is launched on another computer, the application will automatically go into protected mode and will show that the product is not activated. In some cases, this may lead to license loss.

The next stage in the installation process allows you to change the name of the work folder and determine who has the right to use the application.

Here the options are two:

• The application can be used by any user who has access to the computer;
• The application can only be used by an authorized operator.

It is recommended that the name of the work folder should not be changed unless this is necessary for security reasons. As far as choosing a user is concerned, it is advisable to be only an authorized user.

To go to the next stage of the installation process, click the "Next" button.

If all settings are correctly entered, the system proceeds to an installation process. However, before this happens, a message appears, entitling the operator to stop the process.
